| Comments: | Techthane is used to seal the seams of the rail car, preventing loss of the waste contents en route to its processing facility. Previously, the constant movement and vibration of the car allowed a significant amount of the waste to leak through small cracks in the seams of the car. Due to the high adhesion of Techthane systems, only the seams had to be lined, saving significant material and labor costs. To date, 30 cars have been lined. |
