TECHTHANE® 685
Multi-purpose batch-mix elastomer spray lining

Clarifier tank lined for chemical, abrasion, and leak protection

Techthane 685 is a high solids, high build elastomer spray lining applied with standard airless spray equipment. With an elongation of 500%, it can bridge even large cracks in containment applications. Due to its specific aliphatic polyurethane-urea makeup, it has excellent weathering resistance, color stability, and chemical resistance. Although intended as a general purpose lining, its slurry abrasion resistance of 400% better than steel is higher than most other 'abrasion-resistant' linings and is suitable for many abrasion applications. Application is simple and reliable with standard airless spray equipment.

Compared to plural-component linings often used in similar applications, 685 has significantly better chemical resistance, weathering resistance, color stability, hydrolytic stability, elongation, as well as far simpler and more reliable application.
